Alternative Delivery Success Stories:

Project Owners Discuss Their Experiences with Alternative Delivery

December 4, 2014
1pm - 2pm Eastern

Embarking on an alternative delivery project can be overwhelming. What should you consider when deciding the best delivery method? What projects make good candidates for alternative delivery? What steps can you take to drive successful outcomes? How do you measure progress throughout the project?

Join our distinguished owner-panel of alternative delivery veterans to hear directly from them what challenges they faced and how they achieved success with their alternative delivery projects. Our panelists will highlight their recent project experiences, discuss key factors in their success, and then open the lines to take questions from participants.

This webinar features:

Robert Granberg, Deputy Director, Water Resources Planning for the City of Stockton, CA. Mr. Granberg helped steer the progressive design-build delivery of 13 miles of raw water pipeline, 6 miles of treated water pipeline, and a new water treatment facility—all of which helped the growing City of Stockton create a vital new drinking water source.

Timothy Lafond, Executive Director for Johnson Controls Inc. Mr. LaFond oversaw the fast-track engineer-procure-construct-delivery of a stormwater and industrial wastewater treatment plant for Johnson Controls' lead-acid battery recycling center in Florence, SC. The project met an aggressive schedule and was online within 10 months of startup.

Patrick Hughes, P.E., CDM Smith (Moderator). Mr. Hughes has 35 years of experience executing and managing complex infrastructure projects for CDM Smith's clients, including both traditional and alternative delivery projects.
